Football season 2013-2014

Posted by: mista h on 16 August 2013

As tomorrow the silly season starts all over again i thought i would start up this new thread so that followers of this stupidly rich game could have a say in anything Footie related. So if you want to have a moan or sing the praises about anything related would love to know about it.

My own moan is that lazy git Berbatov has carried on the way he ended last season. Watched him in our 2 home PSFs.He hardly broke sweat.

Also got to shake hands with our new Billionaire Chairman(Mr Khan),a friendly guy who appears to have trouble finding a barber shop

"Spurs" and "class"  are two words you never see in close proximity (except in the phrase "Spurs are a second-class team"). "Spurs" and "deluded", most certainly.

I think a Spud did come on this thread once, but he didn't stick around.

So fickle, that mob

No h, Debs got it wrong. The 'Silly Moo'.   Alf Garnett is a Hammer's supporter through and through. Can't you see the similarity between him and Kevin?

Posted on: 14 February 2014 by Steve J

The is the Spurs Supporters Club HQ.

Alf Garnett was a West Ham fan . . . but Warren Michell was Spurs through and through.

What on earth is going on at Fulham? Another manager sacked, this one after 3 months and when FFC have shown more fight in their last two games than most previous ones! And what possesses Magath with 3 Bundesliga titles in his CV to step into this situation (apart from money)?

Strange times.

Alan Curbishley might be a little surprised by the appointment too

I'd assumed Curbishley - then Wilkins - then relegation - seems like they have chosen to skip the middle men.

Almost Venky's take two

Meanwhile another true legend of the game is gone:-

Interesting draw for the quarter finals of the FA cup. Apologies to Charlton fans but wouldn't it good for the city of Sheffield if the Owls played the Blades in the quarter final? Both teams have been having a rough time of it in recent years. Such a tie would give the whole city a lift.

Total agree MDS it would be great for my city of Sheffield. However, being an Owls fan all my life no doubt they will f**k it up!!  Come on you owls.

Graham.

Yes, Graham, but Blades fans will mostly feel exactly the same excitement tinged with a heavy sense of doom. We all do that with out teams, I think.  On the other hand, should it happen and you win a really important local derby, the resultant elation is priceless!

Just watched the first interview with this new clown of a manager we have got(Magath). At one point in the interview he had to think twice who he was working for this month. However he did state 100% we aint going down. I do like a good larf first thing on a Monday morning.

Looks like Curbushly & Wilkins could be on their bikes this week, and thev`e only been with us a month.

A BALLS UP OF THE HIGHEST ORDER
