Football season 2013-2014

Posted by: mista h on 16 August 2013

As tomorrow the silly season starts all over again i thought i would start up this new thread so that followers of this stupidly rich game could have a say in anything Footie related. So if you want to have a moan or sing the praises about anything related would love to know about it.

My own moan is that lazy git Berbatov has carried on the way he ended last season. Watched him in our 2 home PSFs.He hardly broke sweat.

Also got to shake hands with our new Billionaire Chairman(Mr Khan),a friendly guy who appears to have trouble finding a barber shop

Lovely pie and mash at Harringtons in Tooting, then a few pints at the Black Lion, followed by an unexpected 3 - 1 win against a very good Saints team. A very good day.

Three weeks ago such a day would have been inconceivable.

Mental season.

I gave it a miss, but 3 of our guys up at West Brom yesterday went to their usual Michelin 3 star fine dining eatery. fish n chips for 2 quid. i would tell you what fish it was but its a highly guarded secret.

i`m going to ring them now to check if they are still alive !! or being rushed to Maydie to have their stomachs pumped out. None of this posh pie n mash West Ham supporters get. Just think Kevin the way things are going in a few months time you could be in the Europa league and booking your plane ticket to Kiev.

Kevin

Next sat we are playing them from down the road, and as all the pubs in Putney will be full to bursting,i have suggested we give your Pie n Mash shop in tooting a go.

do hope its not a letdown or my naim will be mud.

The fightback is on

Massive win for the Canaries this afternoon, and Spurs being six points behind Liverpool seem unlikely to get a Champions League spot now.  More Europa league games on Thursdays for them, I think.

Don't be put off by the way it looks, the pie and mash is pretty good. It's on Selkirk Road, just up from Tooting Broadway station. Afterwards, take a stroll up to the Bec station and pop into The Wheatsheaf for a pint - that time of day there are unlikely to be too many hipsters in there.

The Black Lion's in Plaistow! Bit of a diversion for you - it'll take you an hour to get to it from Tooting Bec, then another hour to get to Putney from there (Plaistow). But if you're in Tooting eating pie, mash, eels and liquor at Harringtons, then The Wheatsheaf is but five mins away.

That is a fantastic deal for those Villa tickets...
