Football season 2013-2014

Posted by: mista h on 16 August 2013

As tomorrow the silly season starts all over again i thought i would start up this new thread so that followers of this stupidly rich game could have a say in anything Footie related. So if you want to have a moan or sing the praises about anything related would love to know about it.

My own moan is that lazy git Berbatov has carried on the way he ended last season. Watched him in our 2 home PSFs.He hardly broke sweat.

Also got to shake hands with our new Billionaire Chairman(Mr Khan),a friendly guy who appears to have trouble finding a barber shop

It is a veritable shame that your team has to get double relegated in order to have a chance of winning something, but a chance of winning something it is all the same.

I bet Steve Morgan thinks it vindicates the decision to sack Mick McCarthy in just "two short years". Tosser.

Think yourself lucky, Rod. At least Wolves are now on the rise. My lot are seemingly still descending after a triple relegation.  Now sit one place above the relegation places in league two. Having sacked Guy Whittingham earlier this season, his replacement's results are even worse.

Think after tonight's victory over Hull, you Hammers fans can now relax.

We may have won, but that was one of the most inept and ugly displays I've seen in many a year. The fact that the winning team was booed by its own fans says it all...

I thought we(Fulham) were bad when its comes to kicking managers into touch.

Just been reading in todays paper about how Leeds are in dire straits. Some guy called Cellino may/may not own or be buying them. What the paper does say however is that he owns italian club Cagliari, and in the 20 years he has owned them he has got thru 35 managers.....and i thought we were bad.

Chelsea, City, Liverpool and Arsenal all above United, but you've missed off Everton and Tottenham.

And today the hapless Richie Barker was sacked having secured just 4 victories in 20 games.

Andy Awford, ex-player, now in charge and has seven games to stop us going out of the league.

Remember when Alex was almost sacked due to lack of results but given a (then) shedload of money and hey presto!

Just been on the fulham website,Mista McGoo remains convinced that we can avoid relegation.

I think he needs to be returned to the Funny Farm.

Well that was a very exciting game - although, given the difference Adam Johnson made when he came on, I've no idea why Poyet didn't play him from the start. Still, the three points will come in very useful - just one more win and I think safety beckons.

If anyone is interested this is a photo of the Original Craven Cottage dating back to the year 1800 and something

I reckon you're safe already. While you were the better side last night and deserved the points, must say Nolan was a very lucky boy to avoid conceding a penalty when he thrust his elbow forward to block the ball. Don't know how Webb missed that one.

Webb was the ref who sent off Carroll when Cheato Flores faked injury during the Swansea game. He was probably just making amends.
