Football season 2013-2014

Posted by: mista h on 16 August 2013

As tomorrow the silly season starts all over again i thought i would start up this new thread so that followers of this stupidly rich game could have a say in anything Footie related. So if you want to have a moan or sing the praises about anything related would love to know about it.

My own moan is that lazy git Berbatov has carried on the way he ended last season. Watched him in our 2 home PSFs.He hardly broke sweat.

Also got to shake hands with our new Billionaire Chairman(Mr Khan),a friendly guy who appears to have trouble finding a barber shop

Listening on the radio today as gardening got the better of me.

Good luck.

Jason.

But all of a sudden the pressure is on the Scousers. So up your game, Reds, nobody wants Jose's tacky and classless parvenus to win...

Actually I want Chelsea's plucky, gritty and well managed team to win and grind Liverpool's whiny Scouse noses into it while about it.

I do love your sense of humour (or blue-tinted specs) Jamie...

Who cares? (As long as it's not MacLeish ) The thing is, Hippo Head has sapped all the joy out of our football. It is boring and he's not even getting results. We have won two out of the last nine FFS!

I'd like to see Laudrup (or even young Eddie Howe, or Wigan's Uwe Rosler) given a go, but thanks to the Dildo Twins' tight-fistedness and complete aversion to risk, I fear we are stuck with the fat turd from Dudley for another season. I don't even care if we stay up or not. I just want to see halfway entertaining football for my money.

Kevin good use of the dictionary, unless of course you use those pompous phrases in every day life or is only only in your CFC jealousy posts?

Not "pompous phrases" Howard, just a free-flowing and confident use of the glorious language that is my birthright.

Of course Chelsea can't be accused of lacking class or of acting like the nouveau riche (if you prefer that to parvenu) because they were a model of dignity last week after they were beaten by Sunderland, and they have never tried to buy success, have they?

As for your suggestion that any West Ham fan could possibly be jealous of a no-mark, largely plastic-supported team like Chelsea, well, you don't know much about London football, do you?

It's a bloody disaster!

Yes, most disappointing. It is always galling to watch a bunch as tacky as Roman FC get anything. Let's hope Citeh win today. I'd rather they got the title than Moronio's mob.

Ba-h!

Job done. And bloody well done too.

"...they have never tried to buy success..."

What like buying a big Fk off shiny new stadium and moving away from their home roots with some apparently dubious practices. Nope Chelsea haven't done that.

No, but they would do if they could. And anyway, I know of no West Ham fan that wants to leave the Boleyn. And do Chelsea actually have "roots"?

And in any case, if we continue to serve up the unappetising gruel that "Allardici" serves up week in and week out, that stadium will be completely empty...

Trouble is for West Ham though in how to fill the new one Shurley?

And I don't think anyone doubts Chelsea's Stamford Bridge roots?

Posted on: 27 April 2014 by JamieWednesday

Dzeko is quite good at doing that when needed.

Yes, I just said that. That's why nobody wants to go there. It will be empty and devoid of atmosphere. Particularly if the Bongo Brothers persist with that clueless oaf of a manager we are currently burdened with.

Posted on: 27 April 2014 by JamieWednesday

Yes, I said it too. Proves the point then. What a waste of money...

Not for the Bongos. They will make a nice little profit selling off the Boleyn site and will then offload the club after a couple of years to some rich mug.

I thought that we the taxpayer paid for the stadium that WHU are planning to move into. Rather like the benefit that MCFC enjoyed when it moved out of Maine Road and into its new athletics stadium.

Must say I find such stadia rather soulless.

The one player I didn't think would make a cock up today.

Such is life.

Hats off to the Black Cats today. Out of the bottom three with a game in hand and a superior goals difference to those below. Must admit I thought they were doomed a few weeks ago.
