Football season 2013-2014

Posted by: mista h on 16 August 2013

As tomorrow the silly season starts all over again i thought i would start up this new thread so that followers of this stupidly rich game could have a say in anything Footie related. So if you want to have a moan or sing the praises about anything related would love to know about it.

My own moan is that lazy git Berbatov has carried on the way he ended last season. Watched him in our 2 home PSFs.He hardly broke sweat.

Also got to shake hands with our new Billionaire Chairman(Mr Khan),a friendly guy who appears to have trouble finding a barber shop

Yes, Poyet and the players have done a great job. I hope they stay up, have always had a soft spot for the Mackems.

But what a pass from Toure, and the second goal by him was real class. Come on Citeh!

Yes, Toure really is a class act. Thought his injury a couple of weeks ago had finished him for the season.  His return to the team could be the decisive factor in the title.

Yeah since Mick McCarthy left I quite like Sun - Dur - Land. However it is a long trip and Fulham is closer and more urbane.

Funny how the press are calling today Chelsea performance, another mourinho masterclass,  funny fat Sam does that every week ....see Jose nineteenth century football does work

Which West Ham player would have got in the Chelski team today? Possibly the goalkeeper?

Parking the bus is a tactic - the real question tough is whehter there is a "Plan B" if you concede.

Not one west ham player, but pot kettle and black come to mind

Posted on: 27 April 2014 by Chris Dolan

Yep, agree with this, Chris.  Moreover given Chelsea have second leg Champions league semi this week I think it understandable that Mourinho deployed a risk-adverse team and tactics.  The 'Special One' might not be popular with many, and I'm certainly no Chelsea fan, but I think he's the most tactically astute manager in the Premier League. And he's demonstrated that ability over quite a few years and in several top league.

Kevin

Any time you want to swap hippo man for Mista frigging McGoo do let me know. Then you will know what a CRAP manager is really like. Guy is clueless and carn`t even talk his way out the shite.

As for the your chums the Bongo Boys if you Google the FREE internet website called Companycheck and check out the various firms under the West Ham umbrella its looks to me like they have a fair bit of debt,so not to sure where the money is going to come from to buy players for next season.

Chelsea are nothing more than an expensive Allardyce team

I know, next season will be a nightmare, stuck with Fatty and his shite players (actually some of them are good, but Hippo Head keeps playing them out of position. We could have Messi and the fat fool would either put him on the subs' bench in favour of that donkey Nolan, or else play him at left back) again. Even if he was given a big transfer budget, he'd just blow it on 35-year-old Bolton players.

I am even wondering whether to bother next season...

Well there's certainly no "Plan B" at Hippo Head's West Ham and I'm not entirely convinced there's a "Plan A" either, unless "hoof it up to the big guy up front" counts as a plan.

Posted on: 27 April 2014 by beginner

rumour has it that Fat Sam received a thank you text from mourinho thanking him for plan A,B and C

Posted on: 28 April 2014 by Arfur Oddsocks

There's no plan B and we're sh!te at what is for West Ham an expensively assembled, plan A

Back in 03 we were arguably the best team to ever be relegated (42 points). If (IF) we manage to survive this time  one could easily argue we're the worst team to ever stay up.

Back in feb I thought  he was getting his act together as the squad started to re appear from the sick bay. But the bloke has lost the plot and I can't see how he can survive once the season is over. The 'safe pair of hands' tag is looking ridiculous.

On to the title, Would much prefer citeh to win although we have to play them and I don't want us to lose under any circumstances but we will anyway. Yeah citeh have spent big  but they got lucky with the stadium and owners, don't begrudge them at all.

Last nite went to the 1st leg of the under 18s cup final Fulham v Chelsea, and have to say a very enjoyable nites football. None of this Prima Donna diving lark, when 2 players went down in a tackle, they just bounce strait back up and get on with the game. 2nd leg is at the Bridge next Monday,if you have nothing better to doing its worth going along to watch. To get in its only £5 for adults and £3 for greytops.
