Football season 2013-2014

As tomorrow the silly season starts all over again i thought i would start up this new thread so that followers of this stupidly rich game could have a say in anything Footie related. So if you want to have a moan or sing the praises about anything related would love to know about it.
My own moan is that lazy git Berbatov has carried on the way he ended last season. Watched him in our 2 home PSFs.He hardly broke sweat.
Also got to shake hands with our new Billionaire Chairman(Mr Khan),a friendly guy who appears to have trouble finding a barber shop

Just been watching Madrid win with ease against bayern, good game and not a sign of a bus anywhere. But can someone explain the rules of taking a corner, i always thought the ball had to be in the arc circle, is seems today that the ball can be placed outside the arc with the linesman not saying a word, I can see corners being taken from the edge of the eighteen yard box soon, and while I'm moaning, what about throw-ins players seem to steal five or six yards without any come back
HT in Munich,i can see the stadium being almost empty come the final whistle.

Consider the corner arc to be the same as the goal line or touch line. As long as the whole of the ball has not crossed the line it is deemed to be within the area bounded by the line.
I'm ammazed at the width of the lines these days. When I was a lad the lines wee about 5" wide, now they're about 10" wide.

Love it.
Seen this?
Oh, yes!
Plus jumpers for posts and if you lost the toss (or more likely stones- scissors-paper as no-one had a spare coin) your team played in 'skins'. Not good in the winter.
Congrats to Athletico. Don't think Eto'o will be finishing his career as a central defender.
Just spotted this on Facebook.
I must be bonkers, just renewed my ST for next season in the Championship.
Looking forward to playing Middlesbro away, thinking of taking SHMBO with me(she hates football) and maybe turning it into a weeks 2 centre holiday. 4 days in Bro taking in all the sights then moving on to say S****horpe and maybe a visit to a disused steelworks. Is that posh or not !!
