Football season 2013-2014

Posted by: mista h on 16 August 2013

As tomorrow the silly season starts all over again i thought i would start up this new thread so that followers of this stupidly rich game could have a say in anything Footie related. So if you want to have a moan or sing the praises about anything related would love to know about it.

My own moan is that lazy git Berbatov has carried on the way he ended last season. Watched him in our 2 home PSFs.He hardly broke sweat.

Also got to shake hands with our new Billionaire Chairman(Mr Khan),a friendly guy who appears to have trouble finding a barber shop

What's left to say?

The real question this season is will Man U come good or have they lost their way?

Posted on: 20 October 2013 by mista h

Holloway is only one more defeat away from the sack. His bosses aren't impressed with his wife travelling on the team coach to away games with him. Didn't affect him at Blackpool...

If you don't win tonight Mista I think Jol will be toast.

Very interesting comparison. I think my earlier prediction of a mid table finish for United is more realistic but we can live in hope.

you could be correct kevin,as our new owner is flying in today on his private jet just to watch the game at Palace.

Question.......have you ever had tickets for away games go missing ?

3 weeks ago i booked tickets + coach travel for our next 3 away games...Southampton/leicester and Liverpool. Everything has turned up except our match tickets for Southampton this coming Saturday. Have just phoned the Fulham ticket office and spoke to a not very friendly person who just said to ring back this Friday if they dont turn up and they will sort it. Got the coach tickets, but no bloody tickets to get in.

I have to say no, I've not had that problem. One (rare) thing WHU have always seemed pretty efficient about is ticketing.

Hope they turn up!

Well, at 4-1 having been behind you will have enjoyed the evening, MistaH. Two of the FFC goals were very nice indeed. Think Palace are going to have pretty desperate season now. At least the Palace players put the effort in right until the final whistle. Some would have given up the ghost must earlier.

Fulham's first goal was from Pajtim Kasami  something special.

If there is a better goal this season then I hope to see it.

I agree fantastic goal!

Top of the league before Christmas - Arsenal banned for transfer irregularities, Citeh bankrupt, Abromovich deported to Russia and facing "charges", Spurs players all arrested for an internet hate campaign against AVB and Liverpool nuked (and Rodgers saying how the project is still on track and the group are all learning). Happy days.

Many thanks for all your nice remarks for last nite, especially the short video from Blue Boy.

Palace gave our new owner 3 boxes near the away section  last nite, and he was going Bonkers, jumping up and down like a 3 year old.

I honestly would like to see Palace stay up this season, but on last nites showing they are relegation fodder. Talking with some palace supporters in the pub after the game they told me they have Arsenal this Saturday and are dreading what the final score might be.

Our 4th goal was a bit iffy, but with the new technology in place the ref gave the goal as soon as he looked at his watch.

KEVIN....i think in Champers for breakfast for Mista Jol this morning, not toast. Had to stand for the entire 90 minutes last nite, getting to old for all that, that said a good nite.

Congrats Mista, heard the game on the radio, it was an absolute belter.

I think Mr Jol has bought himself a good deal of time. Sadly Palace look like toast already, along with Sunderland.

According to Rackkit Man U could be joining them. The omens aren't looking good.  The bubble may have finally burst. That really was a super volley last night.

Liverpool's striker's Sturridge & Suarez have been labelled the S & S

Man Utd fans are trying to come up with an acronym for

Wellbeck

Anderson

Nani

Kagawa

Evra

Rooney &

Smalling

Anybody got any ideas.

Just got back from Southampton, and have to say we were a disgrace.

As for that little shite Berbatov at the final whistle he just walked strait off the pitch without shaking hands with anyone. Thats no way for a captain to act.

Though the Fulham fans' ironic rendition of 'You've only had one shot' added gaiety all around St Mary's.

I haven't been on the Liverpool forum as I am a West Brom fan, it was something a mate mentioned yesterday which I thought was amusing.

Watched the highlights on MOTD last night. Berbatov really did have a bad day. The funniest part was when Scotty Parker told him to mark Lambert for the corner where Lambert scored.

Will Joe "I missed again" Hart be reprieved or will Evian or Buxton Water or whatever his name is go for a better keeper like Rob Green?

Posted on: 27 October 2013 by Steve J

What a blunder! I could have cried. City's defence is also suspect without Kompany. Why do some managers place so much credence on the strikers at the expense of defenders in the transfer market?
