Football season 2013-2014

Posted by: mista h on 16 August 2013

As tomorrow the silly season starts all over again i thought i would start up this new thread so that followers of this stupidly rich game could have a say in anything Footie related. So if you want to have a moan or sing the praises about anything related would love to know about it.

My own moan is that lazy git Berbatov has carried on the way he ended last season. Watched him in our 2 home PSFs.He hardly broke sweat.

Also got to shake hands with our new Billionaire Chairman(Mr Khan),a friendly guy who appears to have trouble finding a barber shop

So 2 points in it - 7th and 8th  - interesting !!

Citeh have by far the best squad in the Premiership - but Arsenal might yet have the best team.

Despite the win today I can only see Chelski as a cup team really.

Mourinho has shown in most of the top leagues in Europe that he knows how to win titles.  I tipped CFC for the title at the start of the season and despite Arsenal's surprisingly good start, my money is still on CFC.  I was interested to hear Souness on Sky after the game as he seems to think the Mourinho factor will be decisive, too.

The King has risen.

Blessed is he.

And Torres.

Oh dear. Another bore draw for us.

Anybody got any ideas.

Given it is something you may find on a Liverpool forum; RAWKnes.

Cheers,

I haven't been on the Liverpool forum as I am a West Brom fan, it was something a mate mentioned yesterday which I thought was amusing.

All The Best,

Redkev

I picked up on the Boing! Boing! Baggies Baggies clue, still, 'Redkev' has me wondering whether you sport a perm.

Cheers,

OW

If only I had the hair for a perm. I have about as much hair as  Anelka.

As for that little shite Berbatov at the final whistle he just walked strait off the pitch without shaking hands with anyone. Thats no way for a captain to act.

Watched the highlights on MOTD last night. Berbatov really did have a bad day. The funniest part was when Scotty Parker told him to mark Lambert for the corner where Lambert scored.

I thought it was hilarious, but for different reason. Who in their right mind would assign Berbatov to pick up Lambert, he couldn't mark a bingo card. Surely the oppositions main aerial threat should be picked up by a centre back.

But does anybody know what does S&S stands for.

My guess is Stupid & Stupider.

Hello fat cat

Berbatov is 6ft 3in,but the orrible lazy no good shite did not do as was asked of him. That said the whole team were rubbish and we did not deserve to win.

If I do not see a big improvement at Leicester tonite then I am not going to waste a whole day going up to Liverpool in 2 weeks time.

Thats me done with away games for a while after gifting Leicester 2 sloppy goals.

When i pulled into my drive this morning, clock in the car said 2.23 AM. M1 was closed @ J20 and to finnish things off M25 was shut @ J11.

Enough is enough.

I could go to CC on Saturday as there appear to be loads of tickets available - but I've been banned  - due to my attendance at away games this season not yet being conducive to United winning.

Remember Torres being detailed to mark Berbatov, same result.

Man Utd are working their way back into form but i still can't see them in the top two. Man City & Chelsea for me. Good to see Liverpool & Arsenal knocking around near the top of the table too.

The most open title fight that i can remember. Hope it lasts well beyond Christmas.

Keep it up Chris and we'll all start to believe it.

Good result for the Salford United today against tough opposition (eh mista h?). Citeh finally showed how to win convincingly and did their goal difference no harm with 7 goals today. Also well done Newcastle.

Message to BFS and West Ham players:

Playing a strikerless formation is all very well, but if this is the case, then best not persist in hoofing the ball up to an imaginary striker.

Another dire bore draw yesterday, fortunately there are a number of teams worse than us so I think we'll be just about safe.

TBH Steve i quite enjoyed the game yesterday,BUT we  need to get rid of our fat Dutch manager,oh and also Dolly(Brian Ruiz).

It stands out like a sore thumb to me(do you fix sore thumbs ?) that the reason we are letting in far to many goals is because our man marking when we are defending is not tight enough. This is something that can(and should) be sorted out on the training pitch, but sadly the fat Dutchman is IMHO is not up to the job.

Hard to pick which is the better looking, defo the guy in the top pic has more brains.

Not sure if i should post the next bit here or in the Best Jokes section.

Just been reading our match report in The Sun. Their reporter gave each player marks out of 10

I Quote

PHILIPPE SENDEROS   3/10    TWO OF THESE MARKS WERE FOR MANAGING TO PUT HIS BOOTS ON CORRECTLY....Awful.

Have just been reading about the security that the police made for last Sundays game  Cardiff v Swansea. NO Swansea supporters were allowed to travel on their own. Those lucky enough to get a match ticket were given a coach voucher and HAD to travel on one of the 60 coaches hired for the game. The 40 mile journey being made with a heavy Police escort. Their actual match ticket was only handed out when they were on the coach.

Was they expecting trouble or something ??

Message for KEVIN W

Friend of mine is going to get our tickets tomorrow for Wet Spam away. Was going to take the old man,but for the last few years our idiots have started standing up. As he is almost 90 he cannot stand any more. However on the FFC website it is saying away supporters are now in the upper tier, where their is more chance of everyone sitting down. Can you just confirm to me please if the away fans are now in the upper or lower tier.

Thanks
