Silly boy!

That'll teach me to read more carefully. Checking my Uniti Firmware updates this morning it displayed V 3.9 which, of course is earlier than 3.21 or even 3.17 - confusing.
I now have a dumb warm black box that won't respond to anything at all and I can't access via the updater.
I know it will probably end up back at the factory for software surgery and prior to a chat with Steve at Naim in the morning, does anyone have a magic method of resetting the Uniti so it will chat to the updater again and I can restore V3.21 where it rightfully belongs?

One of the reasons for checking updates was the reluctance of the Uniti to 'tune in' to any Internet radio stations. I initially put this down to my network or router but a friend with a Uniti2 running 3.21 has exactly the same problem with the device searching but never finding stations - perplexing indeed.

There have been problems with the vtuner internet radio service on Naim boxes which have been fixed now. Nothing to do with the firmware update. What do you mean by v3.9? Did you mean to say 3.09?

I did wonder about vtuner and in my haste to rectify what I thought may be an issue I failed to notice the release date of the firmware the updater offered me - so I accidentally loaded Firmware 3.9 which, as the version numbers are not sequential, turned out to be a disastrous downgrade which has left me unable to communicate with the Uniti. Entirely my fault which will probably mean I am without my 'friend' whilst it goes back to Salisbury for some attention!

Both versions are the same, Uniti says 3.9.00 nStream says 3.09 ???

Any way before I take the plunge emailed Naim for clarification and that nice man Steve Hopkins replied...at a time when most of us would be chilling out listening to music over a glass of beer, that it is OK to go directly from 3.9 to 3.21
