Format conversion

Posted by: musica on 26 August 2013

Hi

Is there anyone who could supply advice on the best way to convert wav to flac.

Looking on the net there seems to be a lot of conversion software available. Do they all work?

Thanks

Download and install Foobar from 'foobar2000.org'. Then download the FLAC encoder/decoder from 'xiph.org' and install it as a component in Foobar. Then you're ready to go. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes. And it's free and legal of course.

Phillip,

dbpoweramp has a really good converter with lots of options, it's not free but highly recommended.

Try  XrecodeII it's free for trial but long enough to recode a lot of your music.
