App

Has anyone used the App to control the system?

As the delighted new owner of a Superuniti, CD5si and a pair of Neat Motive 2's, I'm disappointed only with the handsets; to require two to operate the system, with some keys common but in a different layout, is unsatisfactory. I'm contemplating a mini iPad and using the App just for the purpose but would really like to know anyone else's experience?

It might be worth taking a look at the Streaming Audio Forum, on the whole it's a very good App. but may have some problems regarding 'Universal' Plug n Play (ie. not Universal enough) or may have some teething trouble with certain servers or setups. I'd certainly use it before reaching for the SuperUniti's RCom!

The nStream app is excellent - I use it to control my SuperUniti. All my music is streamed from a UnitiServe, which the App is perfect for, though it can control CD players too, so long as you connect it to the SU with the appropriate lead. The iPad does lots more of course, such as Forum replies!
