Wich sonos to use with Ndac?

I am testing a streaming service that will start to use cd quality flac files. The service Works with Sonos, and as I understnad there is a Sonos unit I can plug into my Ndac, but when I read up on the models I cannot find a model like the Squeezebox receiver just a small box with no speakers or amps inside, just a box to connect using analogue or digital out to connect to an existing system.

Hi Claus,

The box you are looking for is called Sonos Connect. You can use both digital and analogue. I am using the SC into nDac, found that digital optical works better than coax.

If you're planning to use Wifi to hook up the SC you also need a Sonos Bridge connected by Ethernet to your router.

Interesting what you say about the streaming service. Which service is it?

Sounds interesting., please tell us more!

Prior to being called Sonos Connect there were 2 models, ZP80 and ZP90.

The former is slightly larger and an older model, the ZP90 is the same as the current model.

This might be useful if you were thinking of looking for a used model.
