Android: Bubblesoft Cast to UPnP/DLNA for GMusic

Posted by: Fernando Pereira on 05 October 2013

Bubblesoft recently released Cast to UPnP/DLNA for GMusic that simulates Chromecast for UPnP renderers on your network. You can cast from Google Play Music streams on your Android devices, including All Access streams, which draw on a huge cloud library, recommendations, and automatic mixes aka Radio (full disclosure: I work at Google and I have good connections with the Play Music team, but I'm just a very happy paying Bubblesoft customer). After a few iterations with the developer, Cast to UPnP 1.1.5 works flawlessly with my UnitiQute, allowing me to draw upon a huge music collection in the cloud.

Hi there,

Is this different to Bubble upnp - which supports Google Music as well? Works well.

BubbleUPnP only works with the contents of your own locker, not with the full range of All Access streams.

Thanks for clarifying. I tried it last night and as you mentioned it does work well and gives access to the full range of Google Music offerings.
