Well, I've been to one of them. Picadilly Records in Manchester. I used to get my concert tickets there as well, long before t'internet spoiled everything. Not my favourite record shop in the city though. That was "Yanks", a basement outlet that sold American & other foreign pressings. They were very cheap, if you didn't mind the hole punched through the album cover that is. I picked up some great LP's from there over the years.

My two faves in Manchester were The Record Peddler and the aptly-named Pandemonium.

Although the Keltainen Jäänsärkijä in Helsinki (nr. 21) is not bad one at all it's still hardly breathtaking, the central location might be its best advantage. However, these are my top three in the area:
