Good on him. At least he's going to make the music available to the masses. Those Paramount 78's are very rare. They were recorded 'on the road' and I agree with him that he probably got a relative bargain. I have the Holy Grail of British Blues releases in 'The Flying Eagle' by Dr Isaiah Ross on Blue Horizon which would probably sell for in excess of £5000 in todays market. Less than 99 of these were made and sold via mail order. It was Blue Horizon's 1st release and it is that that makes it collectible, not the music. The Tommy Johnson 78 is historically important from the music point of view and is therefore worth the price IMO.
