Updates - 3.21 and 3.22 for Uniti 2/ OS X Mavericks

Posted by: skipper44 on 11 November 2013

Any idea if the current Update versions can be used with Mavericks?

Also, what about the VCP Driver currently available, is it Mavericks compatible?

Should I just trash the downloads and wait?

Questions, questions, questions . . . .

Off to gym, back in 2 hrs.

I have a Superuniti and I used Mavericks to update it to 3.22.

First I installed the VCP driver (twice bacause it didnt show the fist time).

Should be fine for you!

Unrelated to the effort discussed in this thread, I've hit the dreaded Fault 28 (Bridgeco boot fail) which seems to hit hard and not leave too many choices . . . cannot even connect to a network. Have  tried unplugging the mains and waiting etc, it worked a couple of times but alas no more. Uniiti will almost certainly have to go back to the mothership.

Anyone familiar with that story?

You have got the .pdf part of the download? The NAIM download must've consisted of 2 files, one being the Updater, and the second being a .pdf document which gives you instructions. It tells you where to get the Driver Or how to check if you already have the capability. So you mean you aren't getting one of the (bold italicized) listings shown below?

Mini USB will come up as CP2101 USB to UART Bridge controller, on the Streamer Updater it will be listed as SLAB_USBtoUART.
USB to Serial Converters will come up as USB Serial Converter, on the Streamer Updater it will be listed with the serial number e.g. usbserial-FTFVLW91.

I used the usb cable from my playstation controller.

the not showing of the usb to serial is also what I got the first time, second time it worked.

for me this was the first update on osx instead of windows.

good luck!
