Firmware 3.22

Just curious how many have issues with gapless playback?

I'm running a SuperUniti with firmware 3.21 and have never had issues with gapless... I listen to a lot of live recordings... it's just never been a problem.

Is this issue limited to just certain products?

I'm a Mac guy, and given the pain in the rear that it is to update the firmware (Windows only... really? they need to do something about it), I'm thinking I'll just ignore this firmware update. If it ain't broke, why fix it.

There is now a Mac updater.  I've not tried it but others on the forum have and it looks like it works.

I had gapless issues on my SU at 3.21 and seemed many others did also judging from the size of the thread on it.  But as you say if it is not an issue for you then no need to do the update.

I'm very very glad to hear that there is now a Mac updater... I'll have to look into this!

Thanks for the news.

Well I'm a Mac user and the update took longer than last time earlier in the year. And in the process I lost the settings I had on the 'Qutes.

The reason it took longer was that tracking down the drivers and installing them took some time as my MacBookPro system did not register the serial USB drivers.  In the end I just started the Naim update application ... and it worked - slowly.  For one of my 'Qutes I had to restart it several times before the application found it.

Now I have to reset the 'Qutes setup ...
