WiFi Passwords

I changed my WiFi passwords recently and encountered a couple of issues updating the password on the UnitiQute2:

There appears to be a length limit on the password you can enter on the Qute. I had to reduce the password length on the network to accommodate the Qute -- not ideal.
The options to enter non-alphanumeric characters on the Qute using the remote appear to be fairly limited (No $, for example). I had to change the password to accommodate the Qute's limited non-alphanumeric character set.

Could these restrictions be lifted in a future firmware version? I'm using the latest 3.22 firmware.
