n-Stream Cache

Dear Forum

I'm using an i-Pad to control my ND5xs, which works extremely well, except that it has started 'sticking' if I scroll through my albums. It scrolls, then stops for a second or so then starts again.

I see that there's a facility to clear both a upnp cache and image cache. I have no idea what this will or won't do, and I'd hate to lose any artwork stored on the NAS.

Can anyone let me know what these cache clearances do and whether it would help my stuttering scrolling problem.

Just try it, it cannot do anything to the albums themselves. It just clears the junk in the app. If that doesn't work, kill the app - swipe upwards with four fingers so you get all the open apps on the screen, then flick nStream off the top. Then open it again. All the albums will reload, and hopefully all will be well.
