Are Naimites Whovians?

I declare a dual interest. How about you? Survey time: time to do the official poll to work out if Naim ownership coincides with following Dr Who...

Nah. Sorry. Would rather listen to music.

It would be a little sad if grown ups were Dr Who fans. My son, who is 16, is vaguely interested, but even he is happy to watch it tomorrow, as we were having dinner while it was on.

Been busy watching some paint dry. Far more interesting.

Can certainly feel a little nostalgic for my youth, but not a current fan.

Prefer to watch david tennant in currnt guise such as broadchurch

Oh dear, I have to declare that we in Valhalla were all glued to the set: 16, 18 and over 2100. According to Hungryhalibit we must be sad, but that's not our general emotional state this evening. Must be an Asgard timey wimey thing.

That episode of Doctor Who was better than sex.

...probably.

Nothing against Dr WHO. It's a choice. Last  time I watched it,  Ecclestone/Piper were the duo. Good story lines and acting. Haven't watched since but WHO am I to criticise?

The first series or so were good  - but then you grow out of it.

It was not as good as Quatermass.

Good to know another shareholder's meeting has gone so smooth, until now.

Me too, I'm a scifi and hifi nut.

One of the big advantages of being retired, listen to music a lot during the day and still have time for some TV viewing, and some shared listening also.

Ageing is unavoidable , growing up is optional.

Watched the 50th special today in 3-D at a local theatre. They sold out 3 screenings so lots of people dressed up. Very enjoyable, with a witty intro that I guess wouldn't be on TV. Spontaneous applause at the end which is rare. Roll on the 100th!

Not really my cup of tea, but what really puts me off is the overblown saturation advertising for every episode. Not just on TV either, its on Radio 4 and you can't open Radio Times without several pages devoted to it.

I'm feeling it!

I'll admit to owning almost all the Dr Who DVDs from Hartnell onwards.

I was/am a big fan of Blake's 7, and I have recently given the box set DVD to a Norwegian friend as he was keen to check it out.

My next SciFi project is to rekindle my youthful enthusiasm for 'The Tomorrow People' (all I remember is the lead character disappearing and reappearing). Funnily enough I never really got into Dr Who...And now it's just too late.

Ironically, seems a US TV company has picked up the rights and has piloted an episode for 2013.

As Bowie sang in 'Oh You Pretty Thing' ..."Homo Superiors".

Yes, I like The Who. My favourite is "Live At Leeds". Don't know the "Doctor" though. Is it an album or an album track?

I think you will find that the world health organisation has many doctors.
