NDX digital output to DAC + XPS2?

I don't use NDX's DA and directly use NDX digital output to NAIM DAC. Under this environment, with a XPS2 to NDX, could it increase music quality, or no influence to my system?

I have no direct experience with ndx + xps but I asked a similar ? A couple of months ago.  The consensus is yes it helps but very little.  You would get better results with xps on nDac.  If you have 2 xps2 kicking around + a NDX  + a nDac The feeling is that either sell the 2 xps and buy a 555 for the nDac or sell it all and buy a NDS + 555 or NDS + one of your xps2dr.

You would add the XPS to the nDac. I suggest skipping the XPS-2 and saving for the 555. Once you've bled enough to buy the XPS, the 555 will seem just a small step further, so might as well skip it.

Yes, the XPS goes to the DAC.

In a NDX + DAC + PS environment, my experience is, only with a 555PS on the DAC and a top flight system will a power supply on the NDX be noticable.

Hi, I have found if using the NDX feeding the nDAC/555PS then putting a power supply on the NDX makes a marginal difference, and I have found similar effects can be made using different mains leads feeding the NDX and RF chokes on the DC1 and Ethernet leads. We are talking subtle however.

Thanks for all of your valuable replies. It is very clear that I don't need to upgrade power supply to NDX if I just use NDX as a streamer.
