NDS and NAC52

Posted by: Fokkelman on 24 November 2013

Here is my question. I have been offered a NDS for a reasonable price and would like to know if I can use it with an olive NAC52. At the moment a NAC252 or even better NAC552 is out of the question, hence my question regarding the above mentioned combo. Currently I have a 552PS connected to a CDS2.

I used an NDS with an Olive 52/SC since purchase with great results. I have recently ugraded to supercap dr and 252 and appreciate the difference, but the 52 is no slouch. A nicely balanced system with a decent power amp and some well chosen speakers to match your 52 & NDSand you really should be set up for years.

The analog output from the NDS is the standard connection (DIN) that Naim have been using for decades I understand -- there should be no problem connecting it to a 52.

You'll need a power supply for the NDS.  You cannot share with the CD.
