Frustrating alert message on Daily Telegraph web page

Since my last frustrating Microsoft windows update I now keep getting an alert message whenever I visit the Daily Telegraph web site.

The alert message say's 'Scanstyles does nothing in webkit/firefox/opera' which I then have to 'ok'. and it comes up every time I select a different article to read.

Can anyone explain what this is about and how I can stop it from recurring. Why is it that when windows forces an update on you there is always a glitch afterwards.
