Internet radio interface

Dear all,

I just bought a mac mini and a Bricasti m1 dac and these two were the only component i have for the source. I was quite frustrated to the many ways of retrieving files going to the rest of my system. CAS, playing through NAS, etc..To make it more simple as a beginner, i decided just feeding my m1 directly to my amps, getting files from my mini. I am not sure it was the right way to go?! But i hope this would be the least possibility of getting bad sound. Am i correct?

Besides, internet radio was another amazing source i would deeply feel interested in! But the question is, how could i get access to the internet radio world? We could easily to the internet radio from device like ipad that has apps like tunein, for very easy to get into. But an ordinary pc or  mac computer doesnt have apps installed, allowing us to have a more complete interface allowing us to search programme by country, genre, catergories etc...I like the interface of magnum internet tuner or any network player that usually has a perfect interface for managing programme all over the world. So should i need to buy an internet radio or network player like NDX but just for the radio?

Thanks for your advice!

You certainly do not need a separate device for internet radio. Unfortunately I am not familiar with Mac world but since Mac Mini seems to be a popular choice in these forums I am sure that some of the members using similar solution than you will give some advice shortly. In the mean time make a google search "8 Apps for Radio Listening and Recording on your Mac" (or similar) to get you started.

(And it might be a good idea to seek advice from some of the apple support/user forums also. You might get a quiciker answer and/or ready described solution from those.)
