Courtesy of our friends at Sunday Best Recordings, Naim Label are proud to announce the international release of David Lynch's new deluxe album 'The Big Dream' exclusively as a Hi Def download from today HERE
David Lynch one of cinema's most original talents, has released one of 2013's most strikingly singular and idiosyncratic records. This deluxe edition of The Big Dream includes the original 12 track album, remixes from the varied likes of chart topper Bastille, house producer Hot Since 82, the lost sci-fi spook of Venetian Snares and Bjorn Yttling (of Peter, Bjorn and John fame), with some stunning originals including Lynch's cinematic dark-doo-wop duet with Lykke Li.
The original 12 track album The Big Dream sees Lynch primarily writing and recording with producer Dean Hurley at Lynch's very own Asymmetrical Studio in Los Angeles. Describing his style of music as "modern blues", Lynch says the songwriting process for his new album was similar to his Sunday Best debut Crazy Clown Time. "Most of the songs start out as a type of blues jam and then we go sideways from there. What comes out is a hybrid, modernized form of low-down blues."
You can watch the Making Of (Documentary), 'I'm Waiting Here' (feat. Lykke Li) (Official Promo Video) or stream the remixes in full on the David Lynch Youtube channel.
