Qobuz accounts

Posted by: Dozey on 20 December 2013

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me the difference between the 19.99 and 29.99 euro subscriptions? I found it difficult to work this out from the qobuz site.

Also is it possible to access the service from multiple devices?

Thanks.

Just found out from the pink fish site that you can have 3 terminals per subscription. For example, IPhone, home computer and work computer.

The difference between the €29.99 and the €19.99 subscriptions is that the €29.99 no longer exits and the €19.99 does.

it's what they call a price reduction.

cheers

I looked at the wesite but couldn't find the answers to my questions. I thought someone on this site might help. I was obviously mistaken.

The answer to your question is still there on that page.

yes, you can have your subscription active on 3 mobile devices at the same time. I you want to use it on a 4th device you have to 'decouple' one of your other devices and you can do that from within the control panel of your subscription account.

Aleg, is the best way really to response to the persons seeking for help to ridicule them first before answering their questions? It's annoying…

I'm not convinced that this is being enforced.

I have this on my Android phone, Windows desktop, iPod Touch and Sonos and also use 3 iPads for browsing the catalogue and adding favorites.

My main source is Sonos and I have never been kicked out of any of these devices or had any restrictions Imposed, all devices show up in the Qobuz account.

An advantage over Spotify is that you can stream on more that one device at a time, Spotify stops playing if you start playing on another device.  This is beneficial for us as my daughter uses it on her Airplay Pioneer system in her bedroom as well.

Os..

I'm sorry for my annoying behaviour in this case, but there are people out there (I'm not saying Dozey is actually one of those) who just don't want to look for information themselves even though  the information is acutally published clearly and just take the easy way of putting a blurb on a forum and someone will do the 'work' form them.

Richard

It is actually geared to mobile devices and I haven't able to test it because I own only two mobile devices I use with Qobuz. But you can see in the account information, all devices are being logged.

Cheers

Ok I understand and recognize the phenomenon. Some people seem to be indeed manual illiterate but sometimes the manuals can be quite a mess also.

Aleg - I did look on the website but could not find the information. I still haven't found it - scrolling around using my phone is probably not helping. But thanks for the information. It was on the website that I saw the 29 euro subscription mentioned which caused me the initial confusion.

Dozey

on the page I linked to in post nr 4 above there is at about 80% length of the page a line of text that says: "Expand to compare all our subscription plans!" with two chevrons underneath.

if you click on those two chevrons another section of the page will fold out and will give you more detailed information on and comparison of the 4 different subscription plans and their monthly or annual rates.

cheers
