Most tunes in this album are first time listen for me. Lively and curt but certainly more interesting. Collection of Baroque pieces ends up with so much expressions, feelings and colours. L.241 (K54) is surprisingly modern in terms of melody and harmonic structure. L.188 has a burst of energy through out. somewhat unusually extroverted for this period. Horowitz isn't afraid to add his marks to keep things interesting. On balance, this is played with softer touch than Horowitz's usual but still maintaining oraganic earthy feel.

The Beatles/1962-66. aka The Red Album. A friend asked me to keep an eye out for this one. I found a gently used copy on early 80's Capitol label. Fresh off the RCM and the vinyl is nice and quiet.

From another Radioactive Records

RRCD140
From Chicago, a mix of psych and heavy rock, with good organ and guitars plus the powerful voice of their singer, who was probably influenced by Janis Joplin. This outfit reportedly evolved out of The One Eyed Jacks from Champaign, Illinois.
Does anyone know if this is a reissue of a pirate operation as Douglas Mcgowan from Yoga Records claims?

Porcupine Tree "RECORDINGS" ltd ed. c.d. (haw haw haw)
. One of my favourites sounding like a mixture between "Stupid Dream" and "Lightbulb Sun" albums. Soon after this was released I sort of lost sight of S.W. in the blur of multiple releases and side projects.

Fugazi "In On The Kill Taker" on Dischord cd, what I like about this is the intelligent way the music is made to make a point.

Some extraordinarily good music was made in Britain in the period 1978 - 83, and "Crocodiles" by the Bunnymen was one of the best albums of this fecund period.
This deluxe reissue with extra tracks, bound into a hardback book, sounds terrific...
