THB i find it rather dull, lame, and limp : (

I’ve put it away for another listen some other time when my mood may either find the pleasure with it or condemn it to the shelf of gathered dust.

If you haven't got it already, i very highly recommend ~

Sometimes i think Steven Wilson needs the right people around him : )

I've got that one G. I think it sounds better than the 2012 version.

More early 1980s goodness. New Order's debut from 1981, "Movement", on first press Factory/Nippon Columbia vinyl (pressed by Denon I believe).

None of the band seem to like it but I do. Much better than their last two shite albums...

Hi K agree.  I have six of these 1976 reissues & imo they all sound better than the 2012 box set reissues. Its about time the Mono reissues saw the light of day .  G

It's not surprising the SQ is better G. In 1976 there would have been no digital shenanigans to mess it up. Pure analogue is always best.  I love that album also but I think Revolver just shades it for me.

I am a bit biased as I am a Pires fan, but this album is again of very high quality...

Dead Kennedys   "Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables"   on a Cherry Red double c.d. Every track is a classic on this album, very funny as well.

Richter's Beethoven early Sonata No.11.

Less melancholy than his later pieces. All sunny and lively right out of the gate. Even the Adagio does not have the feeling of dark cloud hanging over your head.

Richter work through it like a well trained thoroughbred.

he's awfully stiff for Mozart.

Lipatti tells a lot more compelling story with less notes.
