The World Of The Tornados....saw this on York market and just had to have it for a couple of quid as it has Telstar on it, my first single.

I think it had only been played once, I can't think why!

My wife says it sounds like The Shadows on speed!

Hi Raider

A brilliant album, especially Star. As the booklet in my CD version says it always sounds best "when played for the neighbours"

I agree Bunbury, I started playing it again recently its a really good album and continues to grow.

What format do you two have? I love his first two LPs on vinyl and this one has been on my radar while digging second hand . Seems the vinyl is all but impossible to find at a rational price.

I have it on cd, the one in a booklet type cover from 2006. I've given up trying to find a reasonably priced LP. I also have his first two albums, but on cd only.

Never get fed up with this classic. Been played regularly over the years and will do in the future.
