On a MFSL CD along with the Ssssh but I think Cricklewood Green is the better album.
JUDAS PRIEST - Sin After Sin - cd with some extra numbers.
This is one of my favourite later Leonard albums - Vinyl - excellent SQ.

Well having listened to Cricklewood Green I had to listen to Ssssh. The latter is much more bluesy.

Thanks for the Led Zeppelin tips guys, been listening to Led Zeppelin I a lot today, amazing to think that was recorded in 1968, the year I was born and sounds so fresh, certainly aged better than me ![]()
Looking at the response we've had to this open day there is certainly still a lot of love for Led Zeppelin, that is for sure.

Good call, great album, I remember going up to Tower Records, London, for the launch of Illusion I & II, tanks glad in models driving down the street outside making great PR, then driving home listening to it thinking how amazing it was, still sounds great today and just as enjoyable.
Absolutely Paul. "You Could Be Mine" is a prodigious work-out for any hifi system.
Just about to bung the 2nd platter on the LP12 and crank that one up. ![]()
My first introduction to the incomparable Mr C - 1st press vinyl.

Not often played but though (to my ears) not the best Jazz always fresh and uplifting! On vinyl.

Nice! Very underrated, never given full appreciation for some great albums including this one!
Robert Cray has won five Grammy's, Tony (for what that's worth). Anyhow, he's been pretty popular here in the Pacific Northwest.

felt like some Hank tonight.

Joe,
I've been listening to Robert's music for a few years but I do not think his music is as much appreciated here on this side of the atlantic as it is in yours. ![]()

Tony
I've only got two of his LPs; Strong Persuader and Midnight Stroll. Strong Persuader on CD is one of those rare early CDs that still sounds fantastic by today's digital standards. I have a friend that grew up in Portland, Oregon and used to go see Cray in the mid-'80s in the tiny, smoky clubs there. He first introduced me to Cray's music in college. Glad you are enjoying him!

Your right Tony he ain't popular here. His best selling album here was Don't Be Afraid followed by Midnight Stroll and the only other album of his that charted since Rainy Morning is Nothin But Love.
Funnily enough he doesn't trouble the US Billboard main charts much either as his last album that got into them was Take Your Shoes Off and that only made a lowly 183.
He regularly does well in the US blues chart where his albums always make the top ten.

Agreed, Ewe,
I try not to gage someone's talent by their position in the "charts". The Grammy's, check history, is no indicaction either of international recognition.
Tony
I was at this concert.
