2013 reissue? Do you mean I'm going to have to buy yet another copy of this excellent album?!

Posted on: 18 March 2014 by Kevin-W

On CD. A collection of newly-liberated working tracks, demos and early versions. Apparently a higher-quality version of these outtakes is imminent.

Tracks:

Shine on Parts 1 - 8 (24:42)

Welcome to the Machine (4:50)

Have a Cigar (7:38)

Played this album last night after watching the Gene Clark 'The Byrd Who Flew Alone' documentary and this guy was talking about working with Gene.

If you have an original pressing don't bother buy again, just play the original.

This remastered reissue isn’t too bad but it does sound compromised in SQ imo

I was expecting better from Decca.

You're right it’s an excellent album! : )

Is this in the new film Kevin!!!?

Sonic Youth   Confusion Is Sex     on cd with bonus ep.   If you've missed a listen to this one, it would be very hard to understand how good they really were.

I never knew why this album was not regarded as highly as its predecessors. I suspect it's one I'd be playing on my desert island. It may even be my favourite Caravan album. There, said it!

Original CD ripped to NS01, streaming through NDS.

Rush. Moving Pictures. On vinyl from 1981. Not sure why, just had a hankering for some Rush on vinyl. Wow, Tom Sawyer comes on quite authoritatively through the SN2 .
