I don't know this trio, nor can I find them on Spotify, eBay or Amazon. More info please.

Cheers,

Hi Ken,

Where have you been?

I've these albums, both mono and stereo for many years. I guess they still come up but the 1st presses would probably be expensive. I would go for the second presses as they are cheaper and plenty were pressed after TYA played Woodstock.

Not heard this TYA album, Steve. How would you rate it against Cricklewood Green?

MDS

Very different but still excellent. When TYA started out they were heavily jazz influenced and this live LP reflects that with tracks like Woodchopper's Ball but there's excellent guitar work from Alvin Lee and there's an idea of what was to come with the final track I'm Goin' Home.

That's a great album Steve. I do prefer the 73'  live album though. I must get round to getting their first album on vinyl.

Tony. Are you confusing me with somebody else. I don't own the Stooges first album, although I do own their second album.

Can't say I know much about Fado, but i realised it's beauty when I heard  Miriza on the Jules Holland show a few years ago. The Amalia Rodriques album is excellent.

"Silent Jazz" what a great invention, an earlier comment about an album.

Small club venue with intimate atmosphere at the beginning of their career vs big stadium venues at their peak. Both have their merits for me.
