A blast from the past on CD. Title track has lots of energy and I'd forgotten how much of that comes from the drumming.

CD rip. Nice live but intimate feel.

Captain Beefheart And The Magic Band

"Spotlight Kid / Clear Spot"   on cd.

Claude Debussy:  Nino Gvetadze (piano)

Deux Arabesques

Préludes, Book 1

Estampes

Claire de lune (from Suite bergamasque)

A few early works cradled by the first half of the Préludes and Estampes - works I could not live without.  The Georgian pianist Nino Gvetadze is very in tune here and I love her performance.  One of my favourite discs over the last few months.  I only wish for Préludes Book 2 and maybe Images books I & II to go along with this.

One of the first albums I remember buying as a teenager. Wore that vinyl version out many years ago  playing it on a crappy Dansette mono record player with a BSR multi-changer turntable. This one is on CD.

George Duke is really awesome: I discovered his music few years ago (I'm from 1969) and have all his albums. 'Faces' is one of my favs: hear the ARP2600 synth.... Great!
