Blank Project - a nomad organisation production
A minimalistic work and perhaps just due to that quite beautiful. Below a sample
Vinyl, came today. A brilliant jazz harpist who also plays koto. Think Alice Coltrane but funkier. Brilliant stuff.
I haven't had as much enjoyment on first listening to an album in ages.
Great cover and great covers. Songs we've heard so many times you'd imagine there was nothing new to be heard, you'd be wrong. Even "yesterday" is a revelation. Fats Domino singing "everybody's got something to hide...."
Being ACE there are no sonic nasties and being recorded predominantly in the 65-75 axis in America the sounds are good.
Classic cassette compilation from Les Disques du Crepuscule in 1980 (later released on vinyl, then CD, with different track listings). SQ isn't up to much but the music is brilliant:
