How can you hate an album cover with a St. Bernard and a hot chick?

Its the dress and top hat that look ridiculous to me. Norah (talented and attractive) is terrific on all her albums.

Hi Graham,

Yes. that's the one I was looking at but it is different from what you have since remastering engineer is different.

Ray Hall vs. Nick Robbins. Ray Hall is listed as the engineer for '93 Japanese reissue. So more than likely 2014 reissue picked up the same mix.

The sometimes quirky but always entertaining Jane Siberry.  Original release picked up mint still sealed, very good SQ.

Doug,

A friend forwarded me the same YouTube video you have watched last year and I immediately like her style.

Much friendlier than stuffy Schiff. ( he's supposed to be *the* Mr. Bach but I can't imagine sitting through one of his set. )

I am going to dig deeper into her catalogue once I get into the Bach phase. ( I am still exploring everyone else )

One of my all time favourite albums by the future ex Mrs Robert Plant...

In the car the only music I listen to is Classic FM, so it's bit odd that my CD collection of classic music is tiny.  Among it is this.  The title piece has great presence, and my Electras really enjoy the cannons, but my favourites on it are Alexander Borodin's In the Steppes of Central Asia and Polovtsain Dances

From the 'record man' at York market....

Peter Green on fine form but the double LP could do with a clean...if only my RCM would turn up!
