Island vinyl. This is really good and far better than most collections of 'Unreleased and Rare Material' issued by some artists. Excellent analogue SQ.

Tiamat - Amanethes

Dark subjects, dark lyrics, strangely enticing...

Starting the weekend off with.....what else could there possible be but ......The Heptones

My last weekend with my Akiva as I have just heard from Jon Monks that my RCM is despatched with some tweaks, so David from The Sound Org is arranged to come round next week to install things.

That's good news Richard but I'm getting concerned you won't need your Keith Monks now as you only seem to play one record.

Original CBS vinyl. I was prompted to play this by a beautiful version of the title track sung by Sandy Denny on the Richard Thompson LP I bought and played earlier today.

Steve

Yeah, i have been caught in a mid/late 70's reggae groove for some months now with some occasional electric blues from the 60s/70s.

Maybe I will play Neil's Tonights The Night to get me back on track...hey that is from the 70s as well...there is no hope for me!

Hi

This was my second or third listen and I am enjoying it.  They have become one of my frequent listen bands, can't go a week without "Build A Rocket......".  Only know of them because of this forum which has exposed me to many things I may have missed otherwise. Grateful to all here.

Sometimes when it's late and I'm a little bit hungry I heat
up some old stale beans, open up a can of sardines, eat crackers and
dreams of somebody to cook for me.

Captain Beefheart.....who else could it be.......oh no also from the early 70s!
