Charisma CD ripped as FLAC sounding as good as it gets!

..and this Genesis album is as good as they got, IMO. Nice one.

It's nice to stream something from the collection for the first time on a new player and realise how great it is.

I haven't heard this album for very many years. Spotted a 2009 CD remaster at a nice price a couple a days ago and so I thought I'd revisit it. Familiar yet new because I now released I've not heard it on a decent system before and there's more in the mix than I remember.

I love this album but my favourite is 'The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway'

Good choice MDS. One of my all time favourite albums. I got the hires download from B&W Society of Sound site and it sounds very good indeed.

I very like TLLDoB too, Sorren, but the second disc isn't as strong as the first for me. ATofT gets my top vote because every song is strong and well sequenced. Mind you, I'm a big Genesis fan so all their albums get a regular play. dn trsong

Been buying some old albums on CD that I haven't heard in a very long time. This is one.

Not sure if you have ever heard it Graeme but the New York tracks that he recorded for the album (which are great- I have a copy) and then ditched are due out possibly later this year or next as one of his Bootleg series.

Out June 2nd.

After enjoying a couple of blasts-from-the-past I thought I'd go for something tried & tested next. Seal's brilliant debut album on CD. A favourite of mine.

I, too, shall really look forward to that. I've enjoyed listening to the tracks on Youtube. There are four tracks from that set (although missing the keyboard accompaniment if I recall correctly) on the bootleg series vol. 1-3.

I know what you mean but for me I think TLLDoB holds a kind of magic. It seems to have an atmosphere all it's own. Guess I'm just a sucker for a good concept album ![]()
Music on Vinyl [Mono] reissue..

At any one time I'd have a different top 10 for any of my favourite groups/ artists. I tend to avoid the major hits as I've listened to them too often.
One song on my top 10 is on the Spotify top 10. Answers on a postcard please to Sloop Acres.
