Remember The Yardbirds on vinyl

Lenny's '62 Shosty's 7th is all dressed up but stiff and ineffective. This set can't quite bring the irony and tragedy that runs underneath all that noise.

interesting music as it is in a way taking us from one period in music history to a next one...

..it's ok, but other like Jean-Efflam Bavouzet show more transparency/lightness...

Fancied a bit of very early Tull. This is the 40th Anniversary Collector's Edition, disc 2 in stereo. A Song for Jeffrey has always been a favourite of mine.

The magical Jimi. So many wonderful songs on this album. Apart from the title track, Castles Made of Sand and Little Wing are two that live long in the memory after a few plays.

Dark Round The Edges.  The legendary private pressing. If you have a copy I can give it a nice new home.  If you are curious, have a listen on youtube and discover why it's the most valuable album made by a band who are not (but should be) a household name
