To be honest haven't got a clue. The collection I gave away included a lot of really rare records including stuff that was never released to the public by record companies. I had a copy of a JJ Cale with Christine Lakeland record feat them on their home porch that was never issued. You could hear the crickets in the back ground amongst a ton of other stuff.
The last one sold on ebay realised £6,600. There has been a lot of recent interest in the band so it's probably worth a lot more. One of your friends is a very fortunate person and I'm still green with envy. Is there any way that I could have a copy of the needle drop ? Contribution to a charity of your choice.
I lost touch with him a couple of years back and the last I heard he was based in Indonesia travelling all over the world working in the Oil biz as a sort of trouble shooter but could try and track him down. His Mother and Father are deceased and I don't know where his sis is.
There was always an agreement between myself and anyone I gave albums to that if they still had them and I wanted it back I would get them but since it wasn't written down on paper it isn't worth much.
As much as I would love to own the copy, I have never paid more than £40 for a record so it's out of my league. Steve Giles, who is the driving force behind the album does not have a copy. It would make a wonderful story if he could be reunited with his creation.
