What did you make of it, Jeff? I've got a few of his albums and am tempted to get this latests one.

Hi MDS

That was a first listen, it is very different from his other output to my ear.  I will be playing it at least a few times  more and will see if it is a grower.  I loved his original three, not so much the "& and Pariahs" disc, and now this.  Not sure.  But since I am using Spotify, no commitment other than the monthly fee required.  I would recommend a listen if possible before buying.

good listenin'

a bit a rollercoaster in styles this morning, but fits me well, I found this one a bit more rounded then f.i. Isabelle Fausts version. However it doesn't reach the lyrical quality of Nathan Milstein's version...

"THE INVISIBLE"

Peter Epstein: saxophones

Jamie Saft: farfisa organ, piano and accordion (on track X)

Chris Dahlgren: bass

Jim Black: drums and percussion

A mistake by the photographer who failed to advance the film and created an exquisite double exposure is being used for the cover of the MA disc, creating a double vision for the Visible.

Sorry Richard.

I have not looked or seen any info regarding the box set, is it a recent reissue?

This is what Burning Shed say "This vinyl release is the first of three volumes that document Fleetwood Mac's Boston performances".

Not sure if this is helpful or not  ATB Graham.

Hi Graham,

The Mac played 3 nights at Boston so 3 volumes makes sense.

But vol 1 is 2 discs this implies 6 discs in total whereas the box set is only 4.

i'll do some more digging.

all the best,

Richard

Hi Richard.

Just for your info Vol 1 is only three side of music, the fourth side is a rather beautiful etching of the gatefold artwork which you can just make out in the posted pic. Good luck with your dig regarding the box. I would appreciate any info you might find.
