Another S'n'T vinyl tripthis morning. I must confess, I like vocalist Paul Roberts' cover artwork as much as I like the music.

With golf and gardening I haven't played a single album since Friday. I will remedy that this afternoon, unless my wife has other ideas.

Marc-Andre Hamelin swims effortless with his piano in all musical waters. Can't hear a note of strain regardless if he is playing Brahms, Scriabin, Medtenr, Alkan Liszt, or Chopin.

Doug, thanks again.

Steve Miller Band - Live 1973 - 1976, a new double CD set (it might be UK/EU only). Two excellent gigs, one NY, the other recorded in CA. I missed them at Knebworth in the 70s, rare visitors to the UK. Really bluesy live, great SQ as they are both radio broadcasts. Lots from Fly like an Eagle and just before.

Joni Mitchell - Live at the Second Fret 1966, another new CD, a fascinating listen, with full between song banter, this is two years before her first LP. Her confidence is astonishing. SQ a little rough at times but it just assists the atmosphere.
