Original Blue Horizon vinyl complete with impersonations of Harold Wilson etc by Stan Webb between the tracks.

New to me and very pleasing, except for the drum solo when I switched off...

Sounds like Gary Boyle at times.

Janes Addiction. 'Nothings Shocking' 1988,

Including, 'probably' one of the best songs ever recorded - 'Jane says'. IM humblist.

Previously mentioned and lauded hereabouts.

Lovely stuff, and (refreshingly) a nice recording which hasn't had the life squashed out of it for the mp3 player.

Beautiful plucked cello on a Robert Zimmerman song and Kate Rusby guesting on backing vocals. Ms J writes a nice tune and has a fine voice. Not a duff track.

You need a copy from the USA on the Sugar Hill label for best SQ.

Another one I'm looking out for, but thats going to have to wait for a bit.My wife really likes 40 Blue Fingers so she should be OK with this one.

The first Taste album I prefer to On The Boards.

A lot of familiarity with this album. I know personally Ken Chirstianson who recorded it, we saw the Hobgood trio perform and then had an interesting conversation with them about amplified music and Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel, the place where the music was recorded, is visited by us regularly to attend chamber music concerts given by Lake Forest College.
