One of the Beatles' best IMO.  A well produced CD, too.

Hybrid SACD

Amazing 20 year old Chang takes a while to get cooking but she saves the day with exciting back half. Pappano's orchestration is colourful and expressive as well as imposing to get the right drama and urgency.

But right next to the veteran Rostropovich, Chang sounds light weight.

The music is served straight up with no frills yet the intonation and phrasing have so much more colours and life.

This has more spunk and liveliness than the later polished EMI recording with Sargent even.

Hawkwind  -  AT THE BBC ~ 1972  -     2 cd.

So far this is the only release with a version of Silver Machine (on disc 2) that I can actually groove to, all the other recordings of the track do not engage me, this version really gets my feet tapping. Born To Go sounds really heavy as well on this release.

On dark blue vinyl, yet another "wobbly" album (full not EP ) , but plays well:-

Rachel Sage - Haunted by You.

Pinguin Radio on my UQ2.

Netherlands > Alternative

Much like Radio Paradise.  320K, absolute minimum chatter from host and a great selection of tracks!

Thanks to member osprey for the heads up.
