John Mellencamp. The Best That I Could Do 1978-1988. On HDCD from 1997. The earliest HDCD that I own. Besides being a wonderful compilation of songs, this CD has outstanding SQ and dynamic range. To me, a focus on the texture and quality of the stringed instruments and their players is particularly impressive throughout.

And yes, I do miss the odd typo! Imagine a third C Major Prelude and Fugue, lost till now! ... and the prospect of an entire third traversal of the keys! I could but wish!
