IQ - The Road of Bones. First listen on Spotify, not sure yet, maybe need to listen again.

Hi Sorren, I have this one. It's not outrageously good but it is on a typical high IQ quality. For me IQ has become a bit repetitive....... So I don't dislike it, but I wouldn't also give a 100% recommendation.

Cheers,

Bert

Thanks Bert. The quality is good and I think I liked the second disk better. I'm sure it will grow on me given a few more listens. Russell

It's indeed good I even have the feeling that I prefer the new mix even more - but it needs some more listening.

Having neglected this album among my DS collection for quite a while it's now getting something of a resurrection.  I seem to have discovered qualities in it that I'd previously overlooked .

Apologies missed your question. The album is indeed Ella and Louis and it's a 192KHZ high res version - hope that helps.

Thanks BERT .

PJ Harvey. 4 Track Demos. (Yamaha MT 2X 4-track recorder). 1993.

Streaming.

One of my favourite albums if the 90's

With Dry and Rid of Me, the three best albums she has done. Out of the three, this one sounding superb. Powerful song writing, simple a raw compositions and frankly one of a kind female in this genre. Everything after this and up to 'Let England Shake' are too soft and commercial for me.

Vinyl....Forgot how brilliant these two guys were. Well ahead of their time. Mad, mad mad and still a pleasure to listen to! Moooo... Moooo....

Air: Pocket Symphony

A perfect stoner background music.

The vinyl sounds great. Nice packaging and all but contents wise it's pretty much all *air*. :/

New remix. Sorry guys but the cd's are truly awful- luckily I didn't have to buy them. Compressed, No noised you name they have it.

Posted on: 22 May 2014 by kuma

Along the same line...

It's quite sobering that it's been almost 40 years since I have heard this album.

Posted on: 22 May 2014 by Tony2011

I usually do not do reissues but  I'm really looking forward to the release next year of this one !

Posted on: 22 May 2014 by kuma

Who's the reissue label?

I cheaped out and did not get the Classic reissues years ago and now kicking myself!

Now for some live Aerosmith!
