A New York group called Mountains and their album Mountains. Trance like repetitive music.

Not very often I'm in the mood to listen to The Thin White Duke  but this album is simply impossible to resist.

The first track, Hollow Talk, is just so beautiful I normally stop and keep repeating it (Theme from The Bridge BBC4)endlessly.......Choir of Young Believers.

S&M. For me this works so well Metallica with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra under the direction of composer and arranger Michael Kamen. Those of you that know it will know what I mean, those that don't really should give it a try.

To steal the review of Ian Fortnam - "S & M showcases over two hours of the band's best known material including the muscular thrash of "Master Of Puppets" and the devastating power of "Enter Sandman". Also featuring a pair of brand new compositions--the pounding menace of "Human" and chest-beating nihilism of "No Leaf Clover"--S & M steers clear of pompous self-indulgence in favour of sheer blistering intensity. Kamen's orchestral arrangements perfectly complement the underlying subtlety of Hetfield, Ulrich, Hammett and Newsted's singularly bombastic muse and the end result is nothing short of awesome."

On CD. An early version on the Virgin label which is a good reproduction.  Lizard is the King Crimson album I play most. I find it enhancing right from the first few bars of the opening track. The rising acoustic guitars on Indoor Games are wonderful. One of those albums that get played uninterrupted from start to finish each and every time.

Another from the Analogue Productions Prestige Mono Series on vinyl. Relaxin' with Miles is good, this one is exceptional.

Coincidentally I've just been playing 'All Day Long' and noticed my rip of 'All Night Long' is missing from my HDX although it's on my NAS......both great sets.

It's a great visual spectacle too. A favourite DVD of mine. Well worth a watch (or two)!

Mine is the original version and still sounds superb

First listen of my recently purchased CD version. Nice to come back to Yes given it must be more than 20 years since I last played their albums when I had some of them on vinyl.
