Excellent live set on original vinyl and the right time of the day to listen to it IMHO.

Camjazz at its best.

Same trio, a track from another album ('Play Marricone'):

Mozart Bassoon Concerto K.191

Karajan's Concertos are smooth & creamy as a whipped butter.

All sweetness and light. Good sounding but dull and wall paper like.

One of the few Naxos cd's that I own.  Bought of course for another version of a few well known Schubert Lieder but in particular really for Der Doppelgänger, one of my favourites.  Among others, Oxana Yablonskaya did study for a period with Tatiana Nikolayeva.

Haven't listened to this in ages.

Always felt that he has one really good album in him but sometimes his songwriting lets him down.

Neil Young, A Letter Home, deluxe box.

Surely the most defiantly lo-fi record ever released by a major artist, this makes The Fall's Grotesque sound like a Dire Straits album in terms of SQ. I rather like it.
