Aimard was a close student of Messiaen and it seems that he enjoyed a unique insight into this complicated work.
A timeless classic. Beautifully performed and a superb re-mastering on CD.

First 'sit down and listen' with the Hugo Dac and it is quite brilliant. Waiting for the DC1 cable to arrive later today but I suspect the difference with it to be marginal at best on top of what is a very musical & transparent Dac.
