Roger Waters -  RADIO KAOS  -   on cd, better than radio ga ga - or lady goo goo, which is more difficult to remove from your carpet than wine. That is if you can affford a carpet in your house after buying Naim. But at least you don't end up with carpet burns.

Earlier ...

Eagles - Hotel California

Eagles - Hotel California 24/192. A classic album worth listening to just for the title track's solo ... and then there's 'The Last Resort'  which I've always found to be a beautiful track.

And now ...

Passenger - All The Little Lights

Passenger - All The Little Lights ripped to FLAC. A very good album, sort of modern folk. Catchy and entertaining.

Pendragon - Passion

Getting away, slightly, from the rather "spacey stuff" I have been playing all afternoon.

This is the best Pendragon since their excellent "Not of This World".

+1 for Last Resort one of my favourite Eagles tracks

Listening a couple of Horowitz albums with Clementi, with him there is always something special which nobody else brought to the table. I like it a lot.

ewemon. I really REALLY strongly recommend these. (I think they cover all the good Mary Black stuff - standing back ready for flaming.......) :

The 'collection' is easy to find. 'Song For Ireland' Cd is more difficult to track down - but worth it.

Both are absolutely fabulous. trust me .

He was the once-in-a-century pianist.

More I listen to new pianists, more I think how special and super talented he was.

We don't have anyone like him today (yet ).

Speaking of Clementi, this piano transcription of Beethoven Violin Concerto was Commissioned by Clementi. Apparently Beethoven needed money so he agreed.

Alas, I just don't think this is working.

Will give them all a try. Always found her voice a bit too polite for me but always willing to re listen to artists.
