Santana recorded at Paul Masson Winery in Saratoga 1989. Great sounding bootleg.

'Spider and the Fly' is brilliant on this album, close miked and wonderfully inflected by Jagger.

'Love in Vain' also.

I'm in that studio!

'Love in vain' was always one of my favourite Stones tracks.

Just listened to it on the 'Stripped' album and it does sound amazing.

When this was first released all those years I remember being unimpressed and rather disappointed, given that Blind Faith was meant to be a "supergroup" and I was a fan of Cream and Traffic. Don't think I've heard it since but today on browsing the CDs in HMV I came across it and thought I would give it another try.

And, yes, the CD came in this original cover, which rather surprised me.

It's a great album which I have on original vinyl.

With the recent health scare for Malcolm Young, and the realisation that all things are finite, it's very refreshing to know that these guys could take up the mantle if ACDC jacked it in... Dread Pirate Roberts style!

Exceptional high energy, beer fuelled, no-nonsens Aussie rock!

On vinyl.

Hmm. Much better than I remember. Better (very) late than never, I suppose.
